DFL was commissioned to design and build a new branch for the jewelry brand Kallista in the Gold Souk area in the Avenues Mall. The spatial experience of the showroom is designed by the flow of movement around a stone cladded column that operates as a central focal point and demarcates a transition from the open showroom environment to the private client areas lined up along the rear end of the store.
To achieve this transition, a palette of luxury materials such as walnut veneer, lime stone wall cladding, luxurious velvet fabric, silver leaf finishes and plush carpets have been delicately paired to celebrate the brands heritage in a modern refined manner.
